The Saskatoon Blades murky picture up front got a little more clear this evening as they dealt 18 year old forward Charles Inglis to the Prince George Cougars.
In return the Blades receive a 2nd round pick in next year’s bantam draft.
It has become evident so far through camp that many young players will be able to pick up the slack and play solid minutes if needed. Several of those players are 16 and 17 years old.
The immediate future of the team is still a question mark, and will remain so for atleast the next few weeks as several players will be attending NHL camps in the next two weeks.
Inglis will likely fit right in on a young Prince George team and be able to play top 6 minutes right way. That is something that would have likely not been guaranteed if he had stayed in Saskatoon.
Good luck to Charles in Prince George, as well as during his upcoming trip to the desert for Phoenix Coyotes rookie and training camps.
