Blades Open The Season

The big day is finally here, opening night. There has been a ton of news over the last several weeks and days and it has been tough trying to keep it all straight. But, heading into my first real broadcast tonight I fell quite comfortable with all the details surrounding the current team.

It's going to be a fun night and it should be a great season to follow the Saskatoon Blades.

If you didn't know, the Prince Albert Raiders are in town tonight with a 7:05 puck drop from Credit Union Centre.

We hit the air with the pre-game show at 6:30 sharp.

The first game of the season have not really been too kind to the Blades over the years, getting 20 wins, 24 losses, and 2 tie. The stories a bit brighter for home openers though, going 28-15-1. These two teams last met in 2008 to open the year, with Prince Albert ripping up the Blades 8-2.

Steven Stanford gets the start for the Blades and I would assume that Jamie Tucker goes for the Raiders.

Head down to CUC and support the Blades! Or if you can't make it, listen on The Bull 92.9
